APERTURE
Aperture explores the relationship between mass and void through a vertically layered form. A central opening divides the sculpture while simultaneously holding it together, allowing light, landscape, and movement to pass through its core.
The repetition of horizontal layers softens the perception of weight, giving the piece an almost weightless presence. Rising from the landscape, its two ascending forms create a quiet tension between separation and connection, structure and nature.
